After 6 months of feeling like im slowly dying (feeling like shit for almost 3 years) & fighting with my family doctor for appointments, she "diagnosed" me with depression and stopped following up and doing tests to find the source of the problems.

Ended up in the ICU just a few days later - systemic infections & acute Crohn's flare (that'd been flaring for 2 years). That "depression" destroyed over a foot of my bowels, gave me nodules, cysts & polyps, shut down my immune system and nearly killed me.

I've since had to leave my apartment, been in and out of hospitals, trying aggressive immunosuppressive treatments, and resting.

Mostly resting.
And eating.

Which is new to me.

Lost 25lbs in the last 2 months.
My clothes don't fit anymore.
