There's not too many times I have to use an alarm or otherwise get up before I'm ready to get up each morning. The joys of being your own boss!

But back when I had a regular job, that alarm going off meant getting out of bed, hitting snooze and going BACK to bed for a bit.

It just seems easier to take your time and not go through the pain of getting up right away. Everyone is different though!

Mornings can be traumatic like that though. Once you're up, you gotta get going with showers, make up, hair, what to wear, breakfast, traffic, etc. No wonder there's a sense of resistance to getting up -- once you do, the real world stuff kicks in!

So make sure you're good and ready before you throw back the covers, get up and get in the shower!

Since it's MY BIRTHDAY...here's one in my birthday suit!

I couldn't get just any tights for this shoot. It would have been very, very easy to get your run of the mill fishnet tights or plain hose or something along those lines.

Nope! That wouldn't do!

The pattern on those is pretty wild. What is that, a sun? A flower? A star? A planet?

It all matched up very well, with the semi-sheer top, the black embroidering on the sleeves, the tights and heels.

There's some more of these images, some taken out on the deck, then a wardrobe change into a body suit, which had it's own interesting properties as well.

I'm not sure what the pattern on those is supposed to be. It's not like dalmatian spots, they're more like leopard spots...just in black and white.

...I know, you probably don't care about the pattern, right? Or that they're little hearts?

I have probably 50-60 pairs of pasties now, a whole bag where I have to decide which ones to wear. Other than pictures, those have come in handy when I'm wearing a thin top and I'm not in the mood for the attention when/if things get a bit nipply when going out. Or if I need to tone it down a little bit, depending on what the destination is like.

Either way...way better than a bra!

Something along these same lines, several years ago, was the idea of working with body paint. Back then, I lived in a neighborhood and thought it would make for a great photoshoot to have a painted bikini top and take some pictures as though I'm getting ready to tan. No one in any of the nearby houses would have an idea that the top was painted on, but the pictures would!

I thought it'd be an amazing image to be posed, perhaps arms overhead with the entire row of houses in the background. The viewer would know my secret...the residents of the houses wouldn't!

Like that idea? Maybe something I could do at the beach? Interesting thought...

Back to the pool...the INDOOR pool, that is!

Having done an outdoor pool shoot before, the idea was to do another in the same way, but slightly different.

There are plenty of cabins/houses with indoor pools. But most of those are enclosed almost completely, which makes it difficult for the camera equipment with the humidity and moisture indoors. The one you see here had a regular door and a garage door in a separate building, along with a view of the mountains (the last two pictures).

So...it fit perfectly!

Right. But there was something about it that just didn't measure up to the outdoor pool shoot I did a few years ago.

Images from that shoot have been posted and reposted on my instagram account, my backup account there and other "Shout for Shout" stories with other models. It's probably the most popular shoot I've had to date, right there with the Naughty Schoolgurl and Hot Tub shoots.

Perhaps it was the 'safety' of the building itself that felt off?

I'm not sure, but I think an outdoor pool is a better choice. I'd like to find one where there's a house with a pool, but also has a bit of property where you can walk down to a dock on a lake as well.

Not too much to ask, is it? But that's why these plans take time!

Butterfly transformed!!!
