I tested positive for covid this morning ☹️ Everything in life feels so painful right now: physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, ugh.

Life update:

Work: I just got a full time job offer at what sounds like my dream job. I get to have creative freedom, use all my skills, like editing, filming, creating content, brainstorming, producing, planning trips & shoots & collaborating & actually utilizing my brain & intelligence & drive!!!! But other than that, I’ve been working a ton—as you can see I’m on another work trip.

Home: I’m currently going through a breakup. I’m heartbroken. I’ve lost my best friend, my soulmate, my other half. I’ve never been with someone who made me feel so intensely. I’ve never loved like I’ve loved him. I’ve never laughed like I did with him. I was never so excited to look into the future with someone, laying out our dreams & our lives. I don’t know how I watched myself ruin it. I do know. But right now it just hurts, a lot.

Self: On top of that I’m bloated & experiencing the worst cramps I’ve ever had. I’m moody. I’m irrational. I do everything I say I’m not going to do. I don’t have a best friend to lean on. So I’m trying to focus on myself: I’m looking for a new apartment, thinking of ways to make new friends who I really vibe with (making friends is high-key hard), focusing on creative projects like knitting, the next film I want to make, and most importantly envisioning the life that I want to live once I move out from living with my ex. Therapy is also going extremely well. Shoutout to my therapist bc she’s the best.

Senior: my dog’s paw is finally healing. The wound kept getting reopened but I think it’s finally almost healed enough that we can enjoy fun summer thinks like camping & the lake. (all tips go directly to paying off my dogs stitches)
