She was tired of being lonely. She sits and daydreams about a love she can have of her own. A love meant for her. But she was scared to love again....

Trying to love others in the past resulted in heartbreak. But that's the way love goes, right? You never find the one meant for you unless you try to love others. You learn what you want and don't want in a mate, though she was getting tired of her heart breaking.

Yet there was something else she needed more than a another man to love her. She had to learn how to love herself. She learned that by loving herself more, she could show someone how to love her the way she wanted and needed to be loved. She could create healthy bounderies so she wouldn't feel like she was giving too much of herself. She knew she had alot of work to do n herself, and she was willing to do it. 🙂❣️

When you’re in a mood….

Change is good... Leaving something that no longer serves me feels good. Leaving something in hopes of something better.

Learning to love myself in the middle of my mess. Learning to love myself with all my flaws. With all my insecurities. With all the mistakes I've made that I have yet to forgive myself for... My ex verbally, emotionally, financially, and sometimes even physically beat me down when I was already down. Took me DECADES to get up. To realize I deserved better. To FEEL like I deserved better. You can have the knowledge, but if you don't feel like you even deserve it, you WILL remain stuck in your mess. #Facts I made the habit to look for outside validation. That was a mistake. I had to look inward. I made the mistake of believing that HE had to be the one the change. I discovered that if he wasn't gonna change, then it rests on me to change. I learned that change only happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain to change.
These nuggets of wisdom has lead me down the path to a better life. Going on this self love journey has been very rewarding. I look forward for what's to come...
