My human tried to play pc games without paying the Cuddle Tax. HOW DARE HE?! Having a cat in your lap makes you instantly better at gaming anyway. Everyone knows this.

My human was just about to get up, until my brother showed up.

My human made a Dungeons and Dragons character for a new game he just joined. I was very helpful.

Not quite an impenetrable fortress this time. More of an impenetrable outpost. Still works well enough for hunting The Red Dot, though!

Nothing fancy today, just my human petting me while I lounge on the other human's bed.

This new litter box in the bathroom is AMAZING! Now I can supervise my human while he poops from an appropriate height. This is really handy, since obviously humans are incapable of defecting without feline supervision.

My brother has gotten a lot more cuddly lately. He doesn't usually sit still enough for pictures, but sometimes he will while cuddling! (Also these were taken in the dark, but he's blind, so he doesn't care about the flash. That's why his eye looks a little creepy in some of these.)

If I sit just right, I can make my floof create the illusion of being a chonk.

My brother has been feeling so much better ever since the humans started giving him insulin! He still hates getting poked every day, but he's so active and playful now, you would have no idea that he's 15!

Well, this is the day my human and I have been dreading.

I have two humans. One of them owns the house, and is technically my actual legal human. The other was the one managing this account. Some time ago, due to multiple understandable reasons but with the recent financial trouble with unemployment being the final straw, the one who owns the house demanded that the one who makes this account move out.

She has said he can come visit me. I know he wants to, but we'll have to see if that ends up working out in practice. And even if he does, it's impossible to say if he'll be able to take pictures worthy of posting here.

To everyone my human has disappointed in all of this, he would like to say how deeply sorry he is--to the other human, to all of you, and most of all to my brother and I. Hopefully this face reveal and old pictures of me bunting his beard are enough--he didn't take any pictures of him actually saying goodbye, but it was basically this with more tears.

To everyone on here, we love you very much. Thank you for everything.

Hello everyone.

My human is going through a pretty rough time right now. His previous employer just appealed his unemployment qualification, and the court sided with the company. Now he owes almost $6,500 to the US unemployment office and lost his only current source of income.

I promised I would never charge for anything on this account, and I intend to keep that promise. But anything you're willing and able to give would be greatly appreciated while we try to figure out what he can do. If your donation comes with a request my human will be happy to try, but can't make too many promises--I am a cat, after all, and might not be immediately cooperative.

In the meantime I'll try to keep posting, but some of the possible solutions might make that difficult.

A few of you wanted to know the story of how my brother and I met our humans, so I thought I should let you know with a few pictures of us together. (Sorry some of them are a little blurry. My brother doesn't like to sit still long enough for a camera to work.)

My brother, Bubba, was rescued from a crazy human lady with several cats, all of whom were malnourished and neglected. In his particular case, he had severe infections in both of his eyes. One particularly wealthy human that volunteered at the shelter couldn't adopt him themselves because they had too many other cats, but they were willing to pay for his surgery. Unfortunately they could only save one of his eyes, and he is nearly blind in the other. But he is also extremely affectionate and loves everyone--humans, dogs, and even other cats... as long as they acknowledge that he's in charge. Which, I'm sorry to admit, but at 20 lbs of pure muscle, he pretty much always is. His favorite things are catnip and cuddling humans. Oh, and despite being basically blind he's even better than most cats at brutally murdering rodents, and loves to bring their mangled corpses to our humans. Also, my brother is openly gay. Despite being neutered, he will attempt to mount other cats... but only other males. He never tries that with me or any other female cats he meets. And thank god--that would be SO awkward.

As for myself, I found my humans on the street in the fall of 2016. I saw them from across a street and ran up to them, rubbing against their ankles and begging for them to pet me and feed me. I had gone so long without food that my fur was short, so they didn't realize I was a Maine Coon like my brother until they took me in and gave me a good, grain-free diet. I have trouble remembering what my life was like before I adopted my humans, but from what they've been able to piece together they're pretty sure I was an abandoned Christmas kitten rather than being born on the streets, just because of how much I love people and how pretty I am. I'm also absolutely TERRIFIED of plastic bags, so they think I might have been thrown out in one. I also panic when my humans bring me outside unless my brother is with me, because unless he's there I worry that they're going to abandon me. Despite my lingering PTSD, though, I absolutely love my humans and insist on spending every waking moment with at least one of them. I have designated uses for my humans, too--the female human is the cuddle human, the male human is the play human. My favorite game is when the male human throws something from one side of the house to the other, and I chase after it almost too fast for his weak human eyes to see. For some reason he keeps calling the game "fetch" and keeps expecting me to bring whatever he threw back, but I prefer to flop on the ground next to it, maul it briefly, then stare at him until he comes over and throws it in the other direction.
