🥳Birthday Cut🥳: Day 6

My pool looked so beautiful and blue and inviting! I walked up to the edge and realized that the rain and the storms created a mess of it. I called my husband at work and he walked me through the steps to get the vacuum running. I spent the next hour diving to the bottom of the pool to clean the debris.

It always amazes me how hard it can be to remain immersed without floating back up. It’s like I buoy rather than sink. I welcome the challenge because I want to know for myself that what soaks me and envelops me is pure.

I see life the same way. The surface of people, situations and experiences is often inviting and refreshing. Time demands that I be selective. I want to dive into whatever I welcome into my life without reservations: to become immersed in it.

I welcome the challenge of reaching and remaining at its depths to discover its secrets. I want to remain submerged without hazardous surprises to threaten my demise.

So, I look. I discern. I choose that which is lucid from its surface to its depths. When I dive in, I welcome the privilege of being immersed in it.
