If you have seen anything within my socials in the last few months, you will know I had a seizure, then an MRI and an EEG. I attended my doctor appointment today, to get a Pap smear and discuss a few other things. Upon convocation we came across my MRI, seizure indecent being a general GP they could not say confidently what my seizure was caused by and that I’d need to see a neurologist (understandable) coming out of the appointment feeling fine, planning on sitting at a cafe and reading a book. I checked my emails, not sure if this was meant for me but my GP had email me my referral to the neurologist stating the “possibility” of me having a certain type epilepsy. Upon my poor decision to google said type (curiosity killed the cat) I begun to sob, in public, sobbing turn to fear tears rolling down my face. Calling my loved ones, in a search of reassurance. I don’t know why I’m typing this here, but I don’t really care because it’s my page and I’ll share what I like. Emailing people in the search of simply booking an appointment for the most nearest future to receive a 100% diagnosis, and plan the next steps in this journey. I have booked a remedial massage for tomorrow morning to relief some pain within my still aching back, and some stress.
