I love the electric blue

I’m waiting for my dark blue gems to come in from Amazon. I really want to get the massive pigtail buns right. So I made the crown to decorate my hair poof and then I made hair clips for the buns!

I didn’t like this Geisha. It was really hard but it’s not my best work. I really like how the shape came out but I don’t think this look was stunning. Aesthetic, yes. I think what I like most is how thin my face is looking. 10 hours. I felt like it needed more detail to pop. I finished it out of obligation and discipline. I feel like using a brown eye liner was a mistake and I should have used black. I really thought the color contrast would be amazing but it wasn’t with these two colors. I really want to revisit this shape in the future but with a lot more color.

What I have learned from the last Geisha is that I should spend my preparation day before my dressing day actually blending all of my pigments with my liners to see what shades I am actually going to get. I always mix my glitters and my foils the day before. Anything really to shave time off of the dressing day. I try to stay with the eight hour average but the last two characters were over nine hours. Ideally, if I can’t start my face preparation by 9:00 am, I don’t have time to actually do a full Geisha because of work flow. I’m trying to also nail my first attempt and I’m intimidated by the shape of the new one. I think it will test my patience like the Peacock 🦚 one did because of the minor details.

I think I may be missing a few Geisha’s. I tried to put them in sequential order. I marvel at the progression
