💧WETNESSDAY IN PARADISE💧

This was at Legalameetse Nature reserve. Its name means 'place of water' and some important Limpopo rivers have their source in these scenic mountains. Because the water originates in the mountains, it is bloody cold, but crystal clear. There is water all year round here, with many rivers, streams, waterfalls and rock pools. However, in the rainy season the waterfalls and rivers are a bit bigger.

In late summer, this Limpopo nature reserve attracts swarms of colourful butterflies, that we've seen with our own eyes. It is absolutely amazing to witness. The reserve has thick indigenous forests and in a very nice area to spot some forest dwelling birds.

I can't remember if I told you the story of how we found this paradise, but I will repeat it here soon.

💙BLUE FANTASY MONDAY💙

This was a small river we discovered deep in the Baviaanskloof. It was late in the afternoon, the light was fading fast, but we just had to try and get some shots. In this set I tried to recreate the "fantasy" atmosphere that was all over the place. I have to admit, it was deep in the winter and I was very cold there🥶!

But then again, I love to pose topless in stunning areas like this. So, I suffered through the cold just to get this shots. I just knew the photos will look great.
