I lost most of my support network this year choosing to help my mental health, choosing to listen to my body and I learned quickly that asking for help was being met with silence by my primary support network. I was caught so lovingly by my new support network and a few amazing friends. I'm thankful to the ones who stayed while I tried to find my happiness.

My second half of the self suspension shots -- Buffalo National Forest

Hey everyone I had some instability with my living situation that has since been resolved! I'm going to be uploading content pretty regularly now starting with..........

My full first self suspension out in the Buffalo National Wilderness. I had planned a pretty long post about it but honestly I just prefer to have it out rather than have it waiting on me to type something up. Here's the first half!

Sometimes when I'm struggling to take care of my space or myself I let myself do something I consider fun/play/treat in order to get myself out of my freeze response. I was frozen my camper has been a wreck and my cat's been sick and everything has been happening so fast I wasn't taking time for myself even though I know it feels so good when I do.

So I put my phone down. I stopped answering everyone and I made my space nice and lit some incense. I started 'Now That's What I Call Music 2002' and then I started off on a nice (challenging) practice. I did quite a few poses I had never done before and I am happy I gave them a try and started to learn my balance in them.

While laying there thinking at the end I though to myself 'I love things that are built well. Even if they get neglected for a little while the foundation is good enough you can come in and fix everything up nice.'

I feel like I'm working on fixing myself up. My content will continue to be unedited and show my body as it is. I'm 3 years and some change into my medical transition and I love my body and it's changes. I start out shirted and transition to a shirtless feral dood. Classic Beckham Energy.

Non funded shout out to Down Dog Yoga app. I've paid them for years and when I was broke I messaged and they gave me a subscription again to help me get through. It's made this type of stretching really easy and accessible to me.
