RIP TIM EITERS CHICAGO B-BOYS CREWMASTERS PASSED TODAY!
Today we lost a true Warrior and Gentlemen in #TimEiters who for more then a decade biggest fight in his life was#Cancer.
His was and is part of the Hip Hop Culture coming from Chicago,Illinois with his dace crew aka B-Boys the CREW MASTERS. TIM love not only for Hip Hop but #Art especially Graffiti and definitely working with Kids.
He was a big inspiration to me as I’m battling #ColonCancer my self. He would text me everyday even when he was in the hospital and I would text him back to make sure he was ok.
Today I decided to text him but a hour later saw Jalil from Whodini post that Tim had passed. Tim was very involved with the Whodini ONE LOVE T-SHIRTS. He was definitely a fan of the Culture of Hip Hop. My greatest joy was getting him back stage at a show to finally greet Grandmaster Mele Mel, Scorpio and the Sugarhill Gang.
All I can say is that his Legacy in Hip Hop and his CREWMASTERS are not FORGOTTEN

From my generation the “FREESTYLE” was that rhyme you said when you Dj was cutting up that record. Now to say if it was already written & memorized it something we can’t prove. To me back early on many of the “FREESTYLES were part of the groups or emcee “ROUTINE” in which we call all agree.

But you do have emcees or rappers who can articulate their rhymes if the dome and those who will recite their “FREESTYLE” because it was already written and memorized because you basically saved it for a “BATTLE”

But let Steve Rifkind do what he wanted at Loud Records, The Furious 5 STEPSUN Record deal. How Polygram was gonna sign my artists but they told me they was gonna release KURTIS BLOW. I said No,I told Kurtis and he wasn’t sursprised.
